Outdoor Blooming

What's blooming this week? It's a good idea to record year to year blooming to help you remember what to plant when and what's well planned or where there are voids. This week 4/21 in the Lehigh Valley-  Trees:Weeping and Yoshino Cherry, Redbud, Amelanchier, Magnolia, Pear Shrubs: Forsythia, PJM Rhododendron, Viburnum and of couse Bulbs: Daffodils, Tulips, and Hyacinths

 

Noteworthy:

 Earth Day is Tuesday April 22nd. As we are all part it's important to do your part.If you are so inclined there are plenty of activities to celebrate this important day- Lafayette College and Cedar Crest, Wildlands Consrvancy as well as many parks have clean ups for which they need volunteers.Check local listing in Morning Call.(It's also election day so all good citizens get out there and vote!)
